So was that all? No more fighting for today? Yes, finally.

I was relieved that we finally arrived on the Northern Coast, where the Whale Clan live. They call themselves the Whale Clan because it was rumoured that their leader could speak with the Whales. Even better, the leader was also rumoured to be able to speak with other sea creatures. Meh. I have never believed in any of those non-sense. Talking to animal? Hahaha.

“Everyone okay?” asked Dox.

“Yeah, I think.” I replied.

“What the hell Clara? Why didn’t you warn us? I was this close to breaking the windows. Maybe next time — ” Tommy asked angrily.

“Thank you Clara, you did it again. Your powers are back.” I stopped Tommy before he could mutter any more words.

“I.. I don’t know how I did that. It was like…” Clara replied, still shocked from what happened.

“Well you guys need to let her breathe. We were being chased just a second ago. Well done Clara.” Dox calmed.

Dox wasn’t wrong though. We were literally being chased few minutes ago. Now we are standing on a coast somewhere up north. Clara surprised us by teleporting the car with us inside it and leaving our chasers behind. She’s never disappointed me before and the current event just proved it even more.

“But guys I really didn’t — ”

Just as Clara was about to finish her sentence, we heard a loud command from afar, telling us to put our hands above our heads. We did. We had no other choice. Running away and planning on what to do would take a lot of time. Dox didn’t even hesitate to put his hands up too, which meant that he didn’t have any trick up his sleeve. Tommy seemed to not resist anymore. I bet he didn’t want to be captured and tortured the second time. Well he was already captured. We all were. Clara came closer to Dox and did the same thing with Dox. I was trying to come up with a plan, but I hit a wall and finally joined the others in a non-resist spree. I wanted to push them with all the stamina I had left, but I didn’t think that the others would know about my plan. It might be risky too since we didn’t know how many people are surrounding us. I saw a sniper far behind the guards; the reflection from the scope really gave it off.

“I want everyone to face the sea and put your hands behind your head, NOW!” shouted one of the men.

So we did. Not only did we face the sea, I heard their steps getting closer to us. I couldn’t count how many people there were, but I was sure there were more than a dozen. Not a good time to pick a fight to be honest.

“Now get on your knees.” he commanded us the second time.

We had no choice but to get on our knees. Even though we followed their orders, I felt a muzzle touching my hands which were behind my head.

“Stop what the — ”

“Don’t you move or else we’ll shoot all of you.” a female guard stated clearly when Tommy was trying to resist. I guess we were all being held at gunpoint.

Wait. Something was not sitting right. I knew that voice. A familiar firm voice, from firm actions, but a heart of gold. Could this be it? Was it really her voice?

“Tahiti?”

“Of course you would be the first person to recognize me Lloyd.” replied Tahiti as I turned around. She had her arms wide open so I accepted her invitation to a hug. The others felt relieve too. We were all tired, especially Dox who drove all night just to keep us save. Meeting with an ally seemed to be some relaxation time.

“Welcome to the Whale Clan, this is our land base. Please make yourself at home. Especially you Tommy, how could you forget your sensei huh?”

“Sorry Ma’am. I’m just tired that’s all. My mind’s all over the place right now.” replied Tommy.

“Haha I was just kidding. Come, Iosefa will lead you to your own room. You might have some sleep there. Clara too. Talia will surely have you taken to your room.”

“I don’t think I — ”

“I know, you don’t get to rest. I have some news for you.”

Come on Tahiti, I wanted some sleep too.
